About the Academy
The Academy is a multi-week, self-paced training event. The Academy is tailored for people who need training on Cybersecurity products but don’t have time to spend in a virtual classroom.
The self-paced delivery lets you review the training at any time during each week, and then attend a one-hour Review webinar with Cybersecurity instructors and SMEs for help with the content or lab environments, or to learn more about the key concepts you should take away from the training. The Academy features the following:
- Short, self-paced Digital Learning lessons
- Hands-on labs
- Discussion forum where you can post questions and obtain help with the technical content and lab environment.
- Two 1-hour webinars each week with the instructor/SME
- Certification and related badge(s) for passing any exam(s) related to the Academy training.

Getting Started
1. Access the Academy's Forum
You must create a Community Forum account and then be added to the access list by the Community Forum Administrator. This Forum is monitored by the Academy instructors/SMEs and is the principal means by which you can ask for help with the course content and labs and receive a timely reply. Click for instructions on how to create a Community Forum account.
2. Access the Digital Learning
The Digital Learning must be accessed according to the participant type that applies to you: Employee, Partner Company Employee, or Customer. Be sure to select the proper link below that applies to you.

3. Access the Labs/Monday Feb 27
- On the first day of the Academy, Monday, February 27th, enter the following URL in a browser - https://secopsedu.cyberxdemo.com/guacamole/#/
- Enter the following credentials.

· Username: your email address
· Temporary Password: will be provided by instructor
Note: you will be asked to change your password the first time you log on.
- Under ALL CONNECTIONS, click on the instance ID link to connect to your environment.
4. Register for the Webinars (Webinars are scheduled in 2 time Zones IST & CST)
NOTE: Your organization must allow use of the GoToWebinar client on your company desktop/laptop to be able to attend the Academy webinars using your company device. If such use is disallowed, we recommend using a personal mobile device for webinar participation.

5. Enroll into the Exam and Register for the Exam Webinar
Exams are scheduled on March 10, 2023 in two time zones, please select the time best fits your time zone/schedule. Please allow 3 hours for this exam.
If you want to take the Certification Exam, please ensure you register and attend on time during the exam day. The exam is a combination of multiple-choice and hands-on questions. Successful passing of the exam awards a certification badge
6. Attend Webinar and Exam Links (Webinars Start at 12:30 pm IST and 9:00 a.m US CST, choose the one that suits your time)

Exam Registration
If you want to take the Certification Exam, please ensure you register and attend on time during the exam day. The exam is a combination of multiple-choice and hands-on questions. Successful passing of the exam awards a certification badge.
Print/Request Course Completion Certificate
If you would like a Course Completion Certificate you can use the Print function at the same link you use to access the Digital Learning. If you cannot locate the Print Certificate link within the Digital Learning Contact Us to request help with obtaining your Certificate of Completion.
Request CPE Credits for Completed FAS Advanced Academy Digital Learning
If you wish to claim CPE credits for completing the Academy Digital Learning, please contact us.
Be sure to include your ICS Member ID in your request.
You must have completed All Digital Learning Modules in the Academy to claim CPE credits.
NOTE: CPE Credits cannot be provisioned for time spent performing the Academy labs at this time.
